The 4th annual conference and scientific seminar of Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association Kerala chapter was held at Hotel Malabar Residency Kannur In the morning in a function chaired by Dr.V.Suresan, State President IHMA Kerala , Dr. P.Chandramohan Vice Chancellor , Kannur University inaugurated the state conference.

Dr.S.Sreejeev, National President IHMA and the guest of Honour of the session addressed the delegates on the importance of arming ourselves with the latest knowledge in the field of medicine. Dr. K.A.M. Habeeb made the key note address. Dr. V.R.Sathgun, DMO (Homoeo)Kannur , Dr.R.Sunil Raj, Gen. Secretary-Kerala Govt. Homoeo Medical Officers Association, Dr. P.K.Sudheer-Principal, Vinayaka Mission Homoeopathic Medical College, Salem and Dr.Sreenath Rao- Vice Principal, Fr. Muller Homoeopathic Medical College, Mangalore felicitated the function.

The scientific session was inaugurated by Dr. Roshan Pinto, Secretary General of IHMA. In the first session, Dr.Ram Subrahmaniam MD(Paed), MF (Hom) took a highly informative and useful class on ‘Modern day Paediatrics- Fundamentals and Homoeopathic Approach’. The class and later the discussion by onstage demonstration of nutritional problems were enjoyed by all delegates.

In the second session Dr. B.R.S.Babu PhD, Department of Physics, University of Calicut and a renowned Physicist of international reputation explained the ‘importance of trace element analysis and its importance in Homoeopathy’ .According to him, the more studies and research in this field could definitely explain the modus operandi of homoeopathic medicine.

Dr. Jimrees Sadiq, Programme Committee Chairman welcomed the delegates and Dr. P.P. Vinod Kumar proposed vote of thanks.

After the General Body meeting the full day session came to an end with National Anthem.
