The sixth state conference and Homoeopathic seminar of Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association, Kerala chapter was held on 25th April 2010 at AKG Memorial Hall Thiruvananthapuram. After the registration of the delegates, the programme started on 10.00am.

Dr. M.Premachandran , Secretary General of IHMA inaugurated the scientific session of the programme. Dr.A.Basheer kutty , Associate Professor in Clinical Psychology lead an highly informative and useful session on ‘Psychological aspect of Paediatric case taking’.

The second session was conducted b y Dr. M.Radhakrishnan Nair , a versatile speaker and a good homoeopathic prescriber from Northern Kerala. He shared his experiences with the audience in his presentation ‘ Asthma –New interpretations’ which was well received by the delegates.

The annual state conference was inaugurated by Shri. V.S.Achuthanandan, Honourable chief minister of Kerala. In his inaugural speech he assured the audience that he will take necessary steps to implement the Travancore-Cochin Medical Council Act without any further delay.

Dr.V.K.Ajith Kumar , President Kerala state chapter of IHMA presided over the function and Dr. G.Suresh Babu ,General Secretary presented the key note address and working report . Dr. N.Shaji Chairman of the conference welcomed the gathering . Dr.S.Sunilraj ,General Secretary ,Kerala Govt. Homoeo Medical Officers’ Association and Shri .V.,Sivan Kutty MLA facilitated the function.

The Drug Drama presentation by the students of Sarada Krishna Homoeopathic Medical College, Kulashekharam, Tamilnadu district was outstanding. The programme came to an end after the national anthem.
