The third annual state conference and scientific seminar of IHMA- Kerala chapter was held on 22nd April 2007 at AKG Conference Hall, TVPM. Out of 460 participants 440 delegates attended the seminar. Inauguration of scientific session was done Dr. M.G. Oommen, National President IHMA at 9.00 AM. The first session was on challenges in management of osteoarthritis by Dr. S Sabiraj. The precise presentation got applauds of delegates. A memento was presented to the Doctor by National President, IHMA.

The second session was on managing acute respiratory disorders by Dr. S. Saveesh kumar, the teacher par excellence shared his clinical experience in his classical style of teaching with delegates. A memento was presented to the Doctor by Dr. S Sreejev, Secretary General IHMA.

Inauguration of the Annual State conference was done in between the second session. The function started with Master’s remembrance. Dr Joby J. chairman, organising committee vibgyor 2007 gave welcome speech. Function presided by Dr. M. PREMACHANDRAN, State president, IHMA In presidential address State president emphasized the idea behind VIBGYOR as it is the symbol of unity of different medical system for the prosperous of humanity. Significance of incorporating other systems in medical university need of new Homoeopathic dispensaries, need to stop faulty practice in Homoeopathy and recognition of PG courses in Kozhikode and Thiruvananthapuram.

Inauguration of 3rd state annual conference done by Hon Minister for health and Family welfare, Smt. P.K. Sreemathy Teacher who assured that with in 5 years All PHC will have Homoeopathy dispensaries and will consider incorporating Homoeopathy in Medical University . Also stated IHMA as an organisation in Homoeopathy which stand right there with IMA in Allopathy in health sector. Hon Minister for health and Family welfare gave awards to the 1st rank holders of Kerala University, Calicut University, and M.G University.

IHMA handed over the report on Chickungunea epidemic prevention efficacy report prepared by IHRC.
The guest of Honor Dr. S. Sreejeev, Secretary General, IHMA addressed the audience thereafter. In his brief speech he emphasized relevance of IHMA as a national organization, about the National Seminar and other current issues faced by Homoeopaths all over India.

Conference felicitated by Dr. S. Prasannakumari, Director, Dept. of Homoeopathy Govt. of Kerala, Dr. V. M. Janakikutty, Principal and controlling officer, GHMCT, and Dr. R.. Sunil Raj, General Secretary, KGHMOA. Dr. S. K. Anil Convenor, Ornanising committee, VIBGYOR 2007 extended the Vote of thanks.

After inaugural section tea break followed, after that Dr. Saji took class on Reacting Similinium in day to day practice – A Quick Repertory Approach. It was an earnestly new method of approaching repertory which enhanced may delegates to know the multi dimension of Repertorisation. A memento was presented to the Doctor by Dr. Hareendra Nath, North zone Convenor, IHMA.

Followed by lunch break Dr. Dinesh took 4th session on Pain and Palliative care in Homoeopathy. In which he presented many testimony in that field in his unique style. State president, IHMA presented memento to him. After this section Internet consultation- session took by Dr. Nidesh Rodge – All India marketing Manager, Hompath, in absence of Dr. Jawahar Shah. It made a new dimension of modern cyber consultation. The memento was given by Dr. A. Kannan- mass media officer IHMA.

After tea break business section of IHMA conducted and new office bearers State President Dr. Sureshan, General Secretary De. K.A.M. Habeeb, Treasurer Dr. Jaya Sankar, Vice Presidents Dr. P. Ramesh, Dr. G. Suresh Babu. Joint Secretaries Dr. Rejikumar, Dr. Parimal Chattergee were took charge.

After Business sessions of Dr. Satheesh were done in which the speaker highlighted the multidimensions of nosode prescription. He was honoured by giving memento by Dr. M .E. Prasanth Chief Editor, IHMA Medical Panorama. There was a five minutes session by Clinician Soft ware. The final open forum the young talented Doctor from Ernakulam Dr.Vinod Joseph presented his paper based on his clinical experience of some marvelous cures in Homoeopathy.

Followed by this session two luck dip were conducted. One by Organising Committee and 1st prize – Clinician Soft ware worth Rs. 6000, 2nd prize Pulsatum gluco meter worth Rs.3000, 3rd prize Hompath C.Ds worth Rs. 1000.
Other Lucky Dip by Hompath. Even though having 7 sessions vibgyor concluded at 6.00 PM. only 30 minutes past stipulated time.
