Continued Medical Education
The Medical science is growing in leaps and bounds. It is said that each month it grows by 8%, so in a year it grows approximately by 100%. An person who does not update his knowledge for one year will be practically 100% behind in knowledge. To keep the motto of providing better health to the public. The physician must be updated with the daily developments in the field of medicine and especially homoeopathy. Indian Homoeopathic Medical Association organises periodic continuing medical education programs for its members to keep them updated with the current medical world. Few states like Kerala are seriously planning to introduce CMEs as compulsory for the practitioners to renew the registration, which enables them to practice Homoeopathy in the country. You will be receiving a certificate of attendance with the hours of CME mentioned. The database of each certificate with serial number thus issued is maintained by the state secretariat for authenticity. If you are not receiving updates of CMEs conducted in your local chapter, get in touch with your chapter secretary to know about the latest schedule. |

Cherthala: CME session on Methods & Techniques of repertorisation by Dr.A.Kannan of Trivandrum. He also discussed in detail the use of Phatak’s Repertory, Analytical Repertory of Mind and Complete Repertory with case studies.
Ernakulam: Management of Acute Diseases, A Combined approach using Materia Medica & Repertory by Dr.Mansoor Ali. MD, Lecturer, Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College, Calicut, on Sunday 25 june,2006 at Hotel K.K. International, Near Ernakulam south railway station.
Iritty: Dr. K.R.Mansoor Ali (Tutor ,GHMC Calicut) presented a paper on acute prescription. It was followed by QUICK PRESCRIPTION by a well experienced mentor Dr.K.P.Sudhakaran Nair (Rtd.DMO)

Trivandrum: The Sunday CME of this month was held on 25th June 2006 at PRS Hall. Dr.Jayapal,MD,DM, Cardiologist, General Hospital, Tvm made an audiovisual presentation on Myocardial Infarction & Advanced Investigations. There was no Saturday CME in this month due to some personal inconvenience for Dr.Chandrasekharan. |

Attingal: A detailed study of the Efficacy of LM potency by Dr.Shailendra Kumar, H.O.D, Pharmacy Department, Sree Vidhyadhi Raja Homoeopathic Medical College, Nemom, Thiruvananthapuram. Followed by Dr.Shiraz.M.Esmail's presentation on ‘FOCUS CALCAREA’.
Guruvayur: Dr.G.Leelavathyamma (former principal, GHMC TVM) led the CME, which discussed various aspects of homeopathic management of cases.
Thiruvalla: Dr.Jac Jaison BDS (Trainer, Jaycees International) gave two hour training on “EFFECTIVE MANAGEMENT OF TIME”.
Trivandrum: On 13th CME by the famous homoeopath, Dr. Chandrasekharan, On 28th a lecture on scientificity by Dr. Rajasekharan, Medical Officer, Dept. of Homoeopathy. |

Trivandrum: The CME with Hahnemann’s day celebrations held on 8th April 2006 at IVA Hall. Dr.Maheswara Pillai , Principal, SVRHMC inaugurated the function. He stressed the need of in depth understanding of our master’s life and works to become a true homoeopath in every respect. Dr. K..V. John in his keynote address gave us an outline of the challenges faced in the old days when Homoeopathy started flourishing in Kerala. In the regular Saturday CME, held on the same day, the veteran Homoeopath, Dr.Chandrasekharan took class on Infertility. |

Trichur: On 19th march 2006 at KTDC Yathri Nivas Auditorium, Dr.Sreenivasan,BHMS,MD of Tamil nadu homoeopathic medical college ,Salem presented a paper on “importance of past history in homoeopathic case taking”. |
