The one major problem faced by the Homoeopathic medical field today is the baseless criticism. Theses criticisms are often made by those who are not aware of this system and its principles. Only those who are familiar with the system, having deep knowledge in the system, have the right to speak about the merits and limitations of the system. It is a passion of some third rate publications now a days to question the effect and power of Homoeopathic medicines. This is a cheap trick to promote their circulation among a vast number of people who undergo Homoeopathic treatment. Recently an article by an allopathic doctor discussing the manufacturing of Homoeopathic medicine and treatment method is seen published by one such magazine. This is really to be blamed. Every one has to accept the limitations of each branch of medical science. It is high time to stop the practice of criticizing one method of treatment, while practicing the another.

One main reason for their increasing criticism may be because of the success the Homoeopathic system achieved in preventing the epidemic diseases spread out in large scale in some states. To prove the efficacy and power of Homoeopathic medicine we have in hand a number of patients who underwent this treatment and got relieved of their ailments. Most of modern devices to detect diseases are invented by scientists who are working outside medical field. The base of homoeopathic treatment is its principles. It is a fact that there are no researches and studies using the parameters of modern science conducted in this field.

National Rural Health Mission (NRHM), a noble scheme launched by the Central Government with great aspiration has degraded for the lavish spending of money in the allopathic branch. Though nominees of IHMA are included in the state level committees in some states owing to the strong pressure of IHMA, no fund has been allotted to Homoeopathic system till this date. This is to be strongly protested against. For the proper utilization of the funds of NRHM state level and district level committees are to be formed including representatives of all branches of medical sciences. A memorandum has been submitted to the Prime Minister of India and Central Health Minister in this regard. I hope and believe that favourable action may be initiated by the government.

The activities of IHMA are heading forward energetically. IHMA could achieve a lot for the improvement of our system and still more is to be achieved. For this, we should go forward with vigour and power, the energy and might of IHMA is our members. I exhort you to work sincerely to assemble all the doctors under the banner of IHMA.
