State conference and scientific seminar kerala state 2009 |

The annual state conference and scientific seminar was conducted on March 29 at Hotel International, Kochi , Kerala . Dr. Roshan Pinto, Hon. Sec. General of IHMA inaugurated the Scientific session. The first session –‘Materia Medica Live’ was presented by Dr. S. Praveen Kumar MD, Asst.Professor JSPS Homoeopathic Medical College, Hyderabad. The session was highly beneficial to the delegates. |

Dr. S. Sreejeev,
Hon. National President of IHMA inaugurated the state
conference in the meeting chaired by Dr. V. Suresan
State President. Dr. K. A. M. Habeeb, State General
secretary presented the key note address. In his
inaugural speech National President stressed the need to
include more private doctors into the NRHM schemes as
they are more in interaction with the common people of
rural areas of our country. National President also
unveiled the foundation stone for the state office
building for IHMA, Kerala in presence Dr. V. Sudin
Kumar, National Vice President and building committee
convener and other dignitaries. The second paper for
scientific session was presented by Dr. K. R. Mansoor
Ali, MD, Lecturer, Govt. Homoeopathic Medical College
Calicut. The presentation was highly effective and
useful for the daily clinical practice.
After the sumptuous lunch, there was one more session by
Dr. S. Praveen Kumar, ‘Rare and Peculiar Remedies’. This
session was a sort of ‘eye opener’ for many of the
delegates as the presentation paved way for a number of
neglected remedies and their valuable applications.
A special award –‘IHMA Samoohya Seva Award 2009’ was
presented to Shri. Jose Mavely of ‘Aluva sisu Seva
Bhavan’, a humanitarian and guardian for Street
Children.
Mementos were presented to IHMA members for their
active service to the association during the period
2007-2009.
